1974 YAMAHA MX360

I've done a bit to the MX360 I bought, still plan to do more and I can't wait to race it again!!

HOLY JESUS PISTON!

It's a real shame when 12 days before your first vintage motocross race that you've been dreaming about for a year ends like this. So after doing some research it turns out that a 4th bore piston for a '73-74 MX360 is extremely rare altough I managed to track one down from a guy back east who has them custom made by Wiesco. I'm picking up the cylinder from the machine shop tomorrow and slamming this thing back together just in time for Meatball's Hell On Wheels Rally this Saturday! Cutting it close? Not at all!

FRESH PAINT!!

The '74 MX 360 I bought had an old school fiberglass desert tank on it, although the cast aluminum octagon gas cap is bitchin', the petcock threads are toast. So I found an original tank from a '73 ( they were silver) and transformed it into a '74 tank all while listening to Elvin Bishop on 8 track!

MOTO VANS

In the second ad, check out the bitchin' team that Select Vans used to sponsor, I'm gonna try and find photos of the riders actual vans. In the third photo the dude got caught putting an FMF sticker on the DG Performance Van...check out the fender flares and turned silver leaf in the logo on the side of the van. Chase would be proud...I think?!
