LARRY WATSON 1939-2010

A day short of 71, Larry Watson, legendary custom car painter dies of a struggle with brain cancer. I have a lot of respect for this guy and always thought it was rad that he was from the same area I was born in. I always had it in the back of my head that I would meet him someday. I was just talking to a cool old cat at the Mooneyes Show about him. We were both wearing Larry Watson t-shirts. His was from his 2001 show in Apple Valley and was autographed. I didn't think much of it, figured I'd have an autographed shirt too someday. It's strange to miss someone you never knew but have looked up to.
