Los Desperado photographer and videographer genius Robert Lepe came by with El Presidente, Tom Vadakan to grab some shots of me at work, painting my brains out. They also grabbed an interview for the video that will play at the show on July 10th. This show is gonna be RAD!!
Got these little gems from Bat Skates and there gonna get painted up and were sellin them for as cheap as we can at the Los Desperados & Bat Skates show @ Hurley on July 10th. Stay Tuned!
Stolen from here is a clip of his Juke Joint Freak Show playing at our last Los Desperados Show in San Clemente @ Syrens. The goofy laughs in the background are yours truly. Sorry Folks!!
Painted on an old cupboard door I found in my garage, I wanted to pay a little to respect to some guys that have always done cool things for me. If its time for a hair cut, stop by Syrens Hair Palor in San Clemente and check it out!
One of the most talented guys I know, Dano...multi-tasking at its best!! And women say men can't do two things at once!! Was stoked to get to hang out with Douglass Alan Smith aka "Rubio" at our show, he told some rad stories, including one of when he was a youngster and used to run and grab his grandpa's leg whenever Von Dutch would come by his house!! Went way back in my blog posts to find a shot of him shredding the yard!!
Another fun show, thank you to all who made it out, we appreciate the support!! If you missed this one, we have a show in Venice next month and another in Costa Mesa in June. Stay Tuned!
Although I think Jesse James has really made a fool of himself lately, I think its cool that his people did a review of The Los Desperados at Shelter Surf Shop!! Check it out HERE!!
Here is a video by Robert Lepe of the set up and the actual show. Really stoked on how this has all come together. Tom Vadakan is a genious!! Thanks again to all of your support!!
I had a blast, I'm really glad Tom put this group together and we were able to hang our pieces at Shelter. Thanks to everyone who made it out despite the rain, thanks to Tom for getting this all together, thanks to Graham for having us at Shelter, and thanks to Dano for sticking with it despite the feedback and noisy crowd and of course Ray B for laying it down!! Stay tuned for the next Desperados Show!!
Here is a video that Tom Vadakan's friend Robert Lepe shot in my garage while we talked about the startings of "Los Desperados Art Banditos". Can't wait to get back home and get some california peelers, NZ has been a little hit and miss...Cheers!
This place is... old motocross, old flat bottom race boats, heavy logs, boobs from the 60's, ice cold beer and occasionally some kustom paint. Sometimes it's cool, most of the time it's a drag. Cheers!
